Who We Help

Parents & Guardians

Parenting in the digital age is overwhelming. Your child needs to be online for school, friendships, and learning, but the risks are real. Phishing, inappropriate content, cyberbullying, online grooming, and the growing influence of AI-generated misinformation make the internet a complicated place for families. You shouldn't have to choose between safety and freedom. We built OROQ to give you protection that works today, and we are building the Cyber Guardian Programme to give you the confidence to go with it.

About this audience

The Challenge Families Face

1 in 3 children aged 8–17 saw something harmful online in the past year (Ofcom 2024). These aren't just statistics: they're somebody's child opening a link they shouldn't have, stumbling onto content that frightens them, or being contacted by someone who doesn't have their best interests at heart.

Only 20% of parents knew their child had encountered something upsetting online (Ofcom 2024). The gap between what children experience and what parents know about is one of the biggest challenges in digital parenting today. We help you close that gap, not through surveillance, but through understanding and practical tools.

What We Offer

Cyber Heroez gives families two things. One you can have today: a browser extension that protects without spying. One we are building: workshops that grow your confidence as a digital parent.

  • +OROQ: our privacy-first browser extension blocks over 500,000 adult, gambling and drug domains at the network layer, before the page loads. It enforces SafeSearch on Google and Bing, locks its own settings behind a PIN, and has a Focus Mode for homework. It is free for families, needs no account, and no browsing history ever leaves the device.
  • +Cyber Guardian Programme: workshops designed for schools, libraries and community centres, where you will learn to recognise online threats, have productive conversations with your children about digital safety, and understand technologies like AI. In development, planned for 2027.
  • +Honest answers when you have a question. Get in touch and a person will reply. We would rather tell you what we do not know yet than sell you certainty we cannot back up.

How OROQ Works for Your Family

OROQ isn't a surveillance tool. It filters content locally on your device: nothing is sent to external servers, no browsing history is tracked, no data is sold. Blocking happens at the network layer, before a page loads, so it is not an overlay a determined child can click past. There is a Focus Mode for homework time with a visible countdown, SafeSearch is enforced on Google and Bing so it cannot be quietly switched off, and the settings sit behind a PIN so the filter cannot be lifted in a weak moment.

Start Here

Install OROQ free on your family devices; it takes two minutes and works on Chrome and Firefox. If you would like to hear when Cyber Guardian workshops open, or you are a school that would want to host them, tell us and we will keep you posted. Or simply get in touch: we're happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction.
