About Cyber Heroez
A community-driven social enterprise closing the cybersecurity skills gap and building digital confidence across the UK, one school, one family, one business at a time.
Born from the belief that cybersecurity should not be a privilege
Cyber Heroez was born from a simple observation: the UK needs more cybersecurity professionals, families are overwhelmed by digital safety, and young people aren't being shown what's possible in tech. Our co-founders, Owhonda and Dipesh, saw these gaps firsthand: in classrooms and communities, in conversations with parents who felt powerless online, and in young people who had no structured pathway into cybersecurity or tech careers.
The idea started in a school. In late 2024, one of our co-founders chaired an after-school coding club at a secondary school, in a personal capacity and before Cyber Heroez existed. Watching what young people did when given the space, the kit, and someone to show them what was possible made the gap impossible to ignore.
Owhonda and Dipesh registered Cyber Heroez as a Community Interest Company in July 2025, shortly after winning the Lord Paul Enterprise Award. By August 2025, Cyber Heroez was a resident at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park through the SPEED Business Programme, and OroQ — then a privacy-first browser extension — had entered beta testing.
Hero Skool, our learning platform, officially launched on 20 July 2026. It powers Heroez Coding Club, but it was never built only for coding clubs: it supports ICT and computing teaching, cybersecurity challenges, CPD training for educators, mentorship pathways, and a full hackathon engine. We are actively looking for Solution Partners to bring it into schools, colleges, and community settings.
Alongside it, OroQ has grown well beyond a browser extension into a multi-platform family online-safety system, built so that every filtering decision happens on the child's own device and our servers never hold readable data. SecuraLens, our cyber resilience platform for small businesses, is in development, supported by our engineering partnership with Cloud Advantage.
We're not here to scare people about the internet. We're here to equip them with the tools, skills, and confidence to navigate it safely. As a Community Interest Company, every penny we earn through our solutions is reinvested into programmes that create real impact, and we measure success by the people we reach rather than the products we ship.

Cyber Heroez becomes a resident at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park, supported by the SPEED Business Programme, gaining access to workspace, mentoring, business workshops, and ecosystem support.
OroQ Beta
OroQ enters beta testing: a GDPR-aligned, privacy-first web safety tool built to help families stay safe online without surveillance. What started as a browser extension has since grown into a full multi-platform online-safety system.
WLV Enterprise Entrepreneur Panel
Owhonda and Dipesh are invited as guest entrepreneurs at the WLV Enterprise SPEED event at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park, sharing Cyber Heroez's startup journey with over 50 university students across business and digital marketing programmes.

A heads-down build period: development continues on Hero Skool, and OroQ is improved to help parents and guardians with digital safety, while the organisation grows as a Science Park resident.

The Cyber Heroez Mentorship programme matches its first cohort of mentees with working professionals in cybersecurity and tech, providing career guidance, certification support, and industry insight.
SecuraLens Build Begins
Development starts on SecuraLens, the automated cyber resilience platform built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, designed to use AI to translate enterprise security into plain language for SMBs.

Santander Growth Fund Award
Cyber Heroez is selected for a £5,000 Santander Growth Fund Award through the University of Wolverhampton, one of three awards made in 2026, supporting the next stage of the organisation’s growth.
Cloud Advantage Platform Build Begins
A two-way partnership with Cloud Advantage, a UK-based FinOps consultancy: they advise Cyber Heroez on cloud architecture and product strategy for SecuraLens, and our engineering team begins building their enterprise FinOps platform.

As a Community Interest Company, 100% of our surplus is reinvested into our mission. We measure success in lives changed, skills built, and threats prevented, not revenue targets or shareholder returns.
