[The Challenge]

Digital Skills Education Is Fragmented

31%

of schools offering A-levels in the poorest areas don't offer computer science, for lack of a trained teacher (Teach First 2025)

4.8m

unfilled cybersecurity roles worldwide (ISC2 2024)

17%

of the UK cyber workforce is female, and the pipeline starts in classrooms (DSIT 2025)

Schools juggle separate tools for ICT lessons, coding clubs, cybersecurity awareness, and teacher training. Mentorship programmes often run on spreadsheets. Hackathons are frequently organised through email chains and shared documents. Young people are expected to develop digital skills, but the infrastructure to support them is scattered, inconsistent, and often under-resourced. Hero Skool brings it all together in one platform: structured, engaging, and built for the people who actually use it.

[The Solution]

One Platform. Every Programme. Every Skill.

Hero Skool is the single platform that powers ICT teaching, Coding Club sessions, cybersecurity challenges, CPD delivery, mentorship pathways, and hackathon events. Teachers use it to deliver structured lessons. Coding Club facilitators use it to run project-based sessions. Mentors use it to track their mentees' progress. And the hackathon engine lets you organise, run, and judge competitive events, all within the same ecosystem.

01

ICT & Computing Curriculum

Structured lesson modules mapped to the National Curriculum for Computing, with dedicated online safety units, ready to teach from day one.

02

Coding Club Hub

Project-based learning paths and coding challenges that run in the browser with nothing to install, powering every Heroez Coding Club session.

03

Cybersecurity Challenges

Scenario-based exercises covering phishing, social engineering, malware, encryption and ethical hacking.

04

CPD & Professional Training

CPD training modules for teachers and mentors: self-paced, with completion tracked against every learner.

05

Mentorship Pathways

Structured mentee-mentor matching, with courses assigned per mentee and progress tracked across the relationship.

06

Hackathon Engine

End-to-end hackathon management: participant registration, challenge briefs, submission handling, judging, and live leaderboards.

Book Your Onboarding Call

Schedule a free 30-minute call with our team. We assess which Hero Skool modules fit your needs, whether that's ICT teaching, Coding Club, CPD, mentorship, hackathons, or all of the above.

Week 1
02

Set Up Accounts and Cohorts

Staff and students sign in with their school Microsoft account through Entra, adding a class access code the first time. Nothing to issue or reset. Organisations without Microsoft 365, such as tutoring providers, create accounts directly. Cohorts are ready within two working days of your lists.

Week 1
03

Deliver and Engage

Teachers deliver lessons, facilitators run clubs, mentors guide mentees, and organisers launch hackathons, all through the same platform, with content and tools ready to go.

04

Track, Evidence, and Grow

Monitor real-time progress across every programme. Export evidence packs for Ofsted, funders, or governance. Use it to see where delivery needs strengthening and where to expand next.
