Hero Skool is live. The platform behind every Cyber Heroez programme — ICT and computing teaching, Heroez Coding Club, cybersecurity challenges, CPD training, mentorship pathways and hackathons — launched on 20 July 2026, and we are onboarding founding solution partners now.
Why we built it
Digital skills education is fragmented. Schools run ICT lessons, coding clubs, cyber awareness and teacher training on separate tools. Mentorship often lives in spreadsheets and hackathons in email chains. What we ask of young people keeps rising; the infrastructure behind it stays scattered.
That gap is not evenly shared. 31% of schools offering A-levels in the poorest areas do not offer computer science, for lack of a trained teacher (Teach First 2025). There are 4.8 million unfilled cybersecurity roles worldwide (ISC2 2024), and just 17% of the UK cyber workforce is female (DSIT 2025). A pipeline like that starts in classrooms, or it does not start at all.

What is in it at launch
More than 80 published courses and 380 lessons, spanning KS3 to A-level and mapped to AQA and OCR. Every course carries its curriculum alignment on the front of it, so a teacher can see where a lesson sits before planning around it. Lessons open with a starter quiz and mix reading, video and practical work — Being Safe Online, for instance, is five lessons of about twenty minutes, from digital footprints through to scams and reporting concerns.
Progress a teacher can evidence
Every learner has a progress view: lessons completed, points earned, and completion course by course. Teachers see the same picture across a class, and the platform builds curriculum coverage evidence packs for Ofsted, funders and senior leadership.
Founding partners
Hero Skool is open to schools, colleges and community settings as founding solution partners. The founding partner tier costs nothing during the launch phase, and a Pro tier will follow. Inside Cyber Heroez the platform already runs our own mentor, intern and staff onboarding, so it is in daily use while we bring the first partners on.
